Mrs Ritu

My name is Ritu Bagdai, and I have a strong background in academics and student support services, along with extensive experience in teaching, curriculum development, and program management. My professional and personal journey has taken me from India to Portugal and then to Canada, allowing me to gain diverse international experience. During my time in Europe, I had the privilege of traveling to several countries, further enriching my understanding of different cultures, languages, and educational approaches.

I am deeply passionate about preserving and promoting the Gujarati language and culture, believing that introducing young children to their mother tongue helps them connect with their roots, build a strong cultural identity, and develop a sense of belonging.

In addition to my teaching experience, I am actively engaged in learning child psychology, as I love to teach and learn with young children. Understanding how children think, process, and learn allows me to create engaging, interactive, and meaningful learning experiences, making language learning both fun and impactful. My goal is to foster a love for the Gujarati language in young learners while nurturing their curiosity, confidence, and cultural pride.
